Exercises of Practical life
Successful passage through the early childhood is of the utmost importance for an individual's ultimate perfection, for the construction of the personality.
We prepare the environment, which is to be attractive invitation to the child's spontaneous activity.
We give presentations, establishing contact of the material so that the child can make use of it for his developmental purpose.
We grant the necessary freedom of choice and repetition.
There are 4 distinct groups;
1. Elementary Movement and Activities
2. Care of the Environment
3. Social Relations
4. Care of the Person.

Sensorial Materials
The materials are created by Montessori to help the child make conscious absorption and abstractions, more easily and more accurately.
They are designed to be used and learned independently by his own effort working in prepared environment, to achieve his development of personality.

Mathematics
By nature, human being has tendency towards mathematical conception.
The Arithmetic Materials are prepared for children to help their development of the mathematical mind, as 'all is easy if only its roots can be implanted in the absorbent mind'.
Introduction to Number, to the Decimal System, to the written form of numbers and to further activities are prepared, to be presented to child according to their interest.
Language
At the age of 2 - 3, children are still in his Sensitive Period of language and they have tireless power to absorb language with their Absorbent Mind, that is now transferring from unconscious stage to conscious absorbent mind.
We enrich their vocabulary during this period, using various materials and doing activities.
When he is ready, writing and reading are introduced.
After foundation has been laid, he explores the function of words which is the first very important stage in 'Total Reading', which is reading with understanding and appreciating the style, mood and sentiment of the passage.

Cultural Work
As well as language, Music is corresponding to appealing to human being. It should be given to child as necessity in his daily life.
Cultural work such as Geography, to explore about our earth, about the different cultures in the world and the history of different creatures and so on are presented, according to their interest and language stage.

'Let us give the child a vision of the whole Universe.... The Universe is an imposing reality, and an answer to all questions. We shall walk together on this path of life; for all things are a part of the Universe, and are connected with each other to form one whole unity. This idea helps the mind of the child to become fixed, to stop wandering in an aimless quest for knowledge. He is satisfied, having found the universal centre of himself with all things. - Maria Montessori 'To Educate the Human Potential'
